10 Shades is engaged in the retail trading of clothing, stationery, gift items, general apparel, merchandise articles, and related products. The business operates a physical merchandise store within the premises of IIM Sambalpur and offers customers the convenience of purchasing merchandise through its online platform. While the store is situated within the institute’s campus and serves its community, the website and business operations of 10 Shades are conducted independently and are not to be construed as representing the administrative, legal, or official functions of IIM Sambalpur.
2. Use of Website
The use of this website is permitted for lawful purposes only. Users are expected to ensure that all information submitted on the website is accurate and complete. Any attempt to interfere with the functioning of the website, its security features, or its content may result in restriction or termination of access. 10 Shades reserves the right, at its discretion, to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website without prior notice.
3. Product Display and Information
All products and their descriptions are provided with reasonable accuracy. Variations in colour, texture, or appearance may occur due to differences in screen displays or manufacturing processes. Measurements, descriptions, and details are provided as close approximations. The availability of any product listed on the website cannot be guaranteed and may change based on stock conditions.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices displayed on the website represent the current selling price of the products at the time of listing. Although every effort is made to maintain accuracy, errors may occasionally occur. In such instances, 10 Shades reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund if payment has already been made. Payment must be successfully completed through the available payment methods, including UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and similar acceptable modes, before an order is processed for shipment.
5. Order Confirmation and Cancellation
An order placed on the website is deemed confirmed once payment is received and acknowledged. 10 Shades retains the discretion to cancel an order due to reasons including, but not limited to, stock unavailability, payment issues, errors in product or pricing information, or any unavoidable circumstances. In the event of cancellation, any amount paid by the customer will be refunded to the original mode of payment.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are generally dispatched within one to three working days from the date of confirmation. Under certain conditions, the dispatch period may extend up to fifteen to thirty days. Delivery timelines depend on the courier service and destination and typically range from five to eight days. 10 Shades uses common courier partners such as DTDC, Delhivery, Blue Dart, India Post, or any other suitable service provider. Once the product is handed over to the courier, responsibility for delivery rests with the respective courier company. Delays, transit issues, or operational lapses on the part of the courier are outside the control of 10 Shades, and no compensation shall be provided for such delays.
7. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Most products sold by 10 Shades are non-returnable due to their merchandise nature; however, returns may be accepted if the product delivered is damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered. In such cases, customers must notify customer support within a reasonable timeframe. Exchanges may be arranged subject to product availability, after evaluation of the request by 10 Shades. Additional courier charges may apply. All decisions regarding acceptance of returns or exchanges shall be made by 10 Shades and shall be final.
8. Bulk Orders
Customers intending to place bulk or large-quantity orders are required to contact the business prior to placing such orders online, in order to confirm availability, pricing, and delivery conditions.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, product designs, text, graphics, and other material, forms the intellectual property of 10 Shades. No part of the website may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Any misuse may attract appropriate legal action.
10. Limitation of Liability
10 Shades is not liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the website or the purchase of products. The business is not responsible for damages or losses caused by courier delays, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, mishandling after delivery, or other events beyond its reasonable control.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the use of this website or related to any transaction shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at Sambalpur, Odisha.
